IFA Belief Statement:
"We believe the Bible to be the highest inspired Word of God, the infallible word of God, and that the Bible is the only God-given authority which man possess; therefore all doctrine, faith, hope and all instruction of the church must be based upon and harmonized with the Bible" (II Tim. 3:16 II Peter 1:12-12).
"We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day and appeared to His disciples and is ascended onto heaven and seated on the right hand of the Father" (I Cor. 15:1-4, Rom.4:25).
"We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace through faith and repentance and in the perfect and sufficient work of Jesus by His death and shedding of blood on the cross of Calvary and His resurrection from the dead by which we obtain remission of sins" (Eph. 2:8-9, Heb. 9:12, Rom. 5:10, I Cor. 15:145, Rom. 10:9).
"We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as on God existing in three personalities: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible" (Matt. 28:19, II, Cor. 13:14).
"We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in the Holy scriptures. Adam and Eve fell from their holy estate. Hence by one man's disobedience sin entered into the world" (Gen. 1:27, Rom. 3:23, 5:12).
"We believe in the communion of the Lord's Supper for believers" (I Cor. 11:28-32).
"We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, human yet divine" (Luke 1:26-35, John 1:18, Is. 7:14, 9:6, I Tim. 3:16).
"We believe in the Spirit filled life, a life of separation from the world and the perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of the Christian faith" (Eph. 5:8, Cor. 12:9, James 5:14-15).
